It’s an exciting time for the Writer’s Group that meets weekly at Door of Hope. Many of the writers in this group have gotten together, and through the leadership of volunteer Ellen Prewitt, who started this writer’s group in 2007, they have published a book entitled “Writing Our Way Home: A Group Journey Out of Homelessness.” Thanks to a grant from an anonymous donor from Germantown United Methodist Church, five hundred copies of the book have been published, and will be sold locally in Memphis. A book signing event is in the works, but in the meantime, if you’re interested in purchasing a book, it can be purchased through Amazon.
